Plot:In 1891, Irene Adler (Rachel McAdams) delivers a package to Dr Hoffmanstahl—payment for a letter he was to deliver. Hoffmanstahl opens the package, triggering a hidden bomb which is prevented from detonating by the intervention of Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey, Jr.). Holmes takes the letter and disposes of the bomb while Adler and Hoffmanstahl escape. Holmes later finds Hoffmanstahl assassinated. Adler meets with Professor Moriarty (Jared Harris) to explain the events, but Moriarty poisons her—deeming her position compromised by her love for Holmes.

Plot: In 2020, human boxers have been replaced by robot boxers. Charlie Kenton (Hugh Jackman) is a former boxer who owns such a robot, Ambush, competing in unsanctioned matches and in exhibitions with it. At a rural fair, Ambush is destroyed by Black Thunder, a bull belonging to promoter Ricky (Kevin Durand). Having made a bet that Ambush would win, Charlie now owes Ricky $20,000, which he doesn't pay before leaving.

Plot: Puss (Antonio Banderas) goes on a heroic adventure teaming up with mastermind Humpty Dumpty and beautiful street-savvy Kitty Softpaws (Salma Hayek). He learns that the outlaw couple Jack (Billy Bob Thornton) and Jill (Amy Sedaris) have the magic beans he's been looking for most of his life, beans that can lead him to a giant's castle holding valuable golden goose eggs. When Puss tries to steal them from the outlaws' room, Kitty interrupts, and both fail. Kitty is allied with Humpty Alexander Dumpty (Zach Galifianakis), a talking egg and Puss' long-estranged childhood friend from the orphanage where he was raised. Puss tells Kitty of his feelings of betrayal for a youthful misadventure when Humpty tricked Puss into helping commit a crime. Humpty convinces Puss to join them in finding the beans and retrieving the golden eggs.
Plot: Six months after the events of Underworld: Evolution, humans have captured the priority vampire target, Selene, during "The Cleansing", a global military crusade to exterminate Vampires and Lycans. Plot: In 1974 at the Glenville Sanatorium, Dr. Brendan Ryan (Arne MacPherson) is showing a local psychiatrist, Dr. Ann McQuaid (Kristen Harris), around the psychiatric hospital and shows her three young cannibals, Three-Finger (Sean Skene), Saw-Tooth (Scott Johnson) and One-Eye (Dan Skene). Dr. Ryan reveals how they got their nicknames. Three-Finger bit two of his fingers off, One-Eye poked his eye out with a fork and Saw-Tooth used to saw his teeth against saw wood because he had abnormally large teeth. They all had the ability to inflict pain and not feel it. While Dr. Ryan and Dr. McQuaid move on, One of the mental patients grabs Dr. McQuaid's hair and rips out her hair clip, which she does not notice. The Patient gives her hair clip to Saw-Tooth, One-Eye and Three-Finger. They pick the lock with it and escape their cells. They then release the other patients. Charlie,the orderly hears the commotion and investigates. One-Eye, Saw-Tooth and Three-Finger jump Charlie and attack him and Saw-Tooth bites his neck. One-Eye stabs Charlie in the eye with a needle and Three-Finger then eats Charlie's nose off. When everyone escapes, they kill all of the doctors. Three-Finger, One-Eye and Saw-Tooth bring Dr. McQuaid into a surgery room and strap her down to a bed. As they hold her down, Three-Finger puts a shock therapy device on her head several times and electrocute her to death. They then jump Dr. Ryan in his office and tie his arms and legs to a stretching rope trap. He begs them not kill him, but they mock him and activate the machine. The ropes pull on his arms and legs and rip them off, and he dies of pain.
