The Woman in Black (2012)

Plot:In the Edwardian era, in a small England town, three little girls playing tea party look up to someone in the doorway and walk in a trance-like state to the window where they jump to their deaths, to the screams of their mother. The film flashes to Arthur Kipps (Daniel Radcliffe) the widowed father of four-year-old Joseph, living with his nanny in London. Arthur has yet to move on after it is revealed that his wife Stella had died in childbirth, and he often feels her presence around him. He is charged by his office to obtain the paperwork with which to sell a large manor called Eel Marsh House, which belonged to Alice Drablow, her husband and their son Nathaniel; following her death the house must now be put up for sale. Arthur's boss warns him that should he fail to procure everything needed he would lose his job. He arranges for Joseph and his nanny to meet him up in two days' time before departing.
